A huge boulder rolled down a 100-feet high waterfall in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir today, killing seven people and injuring 30 others, police said.

Police said that five bodies have been retrieved from the debris and JCB machines were removing the slush to see whether more people were trapped there.

On receiving information, Army and CRPF personnel with mobile medical teams rushed to the scene and joined the relief and rescue operations, the officer said. The injured were carried to the district hospital at Reasi by locals in their private cars where only one doctor was on duty.

The spokesman in a statement said two people were declared as brought dead, while the other 33 are undergoing treatment at this Hospital since last evening.
