Barcelona transfer news Malcom Bordeaux

Bordeaux announced on Monday night that they had reached an agreement with Roma to sign the Brazilian, subject to the player completing a medical and agreeing personal terms with the Italian side.

The agents of Bordeaux's Malcom are in Spain for talks with Barcelona over a dramatic summer move to the LaLiga giants, just a day after the Brazilian had seemingly been on the verge of joining Roma.

Forget Willian, Barcelona are now interested in signing Malcom.

The youngster, who had previously been linked with moves to Everton and Leicester this summer, was all set to depart Bordeaux after Roma agreed a fee with the French club.

As well as Malcom; Javier Pastore, Gregoire Defrel, Ante Coric all joined the promising Justin Kluivert in moving to Roma to boost their attacking options while William Bianda adds a young option in defence. However, according to RAC1, the player cancelled his agreement with Roma this morning and will go to the Catalan capital to negotiate his transfer.

"He has played in a couple of different positions for Bordeaux in Ligue 1", he said. He also provided his team-mates with seven assists.

"He made 28 appearances last season, scoring 10 goals".

It was true as he scored six goals for Corinthians youth and immediately went up to the first team where in September, 2014, he got his first goal against Chapecoense.
