British royals release new photos to mark Prince Louis’s christening

As somebody who has recently joined the royal family, it could have been that Meghan was wishing to represent these qualities to bring positivity to Prince Louis' special day - which also happened to be her first royal baptism. Taken at his christening last week, the photograph follows a set of family portraits released by the royal family earlier.

"I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs".

In the final photo in the set, Kate and Louis take centerstage in a dreamy mother-son portrait that will make you want to call your own mom immediately.

These 4 photos were taken by celebrity photographer Matt Holyoak after the ceremony at The Chapel Royal at St James's Palace.

The fifth in line to the throne, full title *gulps air* His Royal Highness Prince Louis Of Cambridge is looking extremely pleased with himself and my heart is melting.

The Cambridges photographed for the first time as a family of five!

The four portraits previously released by the Palace on July 9 show the young prince surrounded by his adoring family, including a grinning Prince George, who turns 5 next week.

The 92-year-old Queen and her husband Prince Philip were not among the guests.

The royal couple likely didn't attend due to the Queen's busy schedule this week.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a dress by designer Alexander McQueen, the same designer she's worn for each of her children's christenings, and a hat by Jane Taylor.

Rounding out the four photos is a attractive mother-son portrait of the Duchess, 36, cradling her three-month-old son.

Kensington Palace spoiled us rotten, and just when we thought the fanfare was dying down ...

And these breathtaking new images prove the ideal prince has completed the Cambridge clan.
