Reports Zach La Vine signs offer sheet from Kings

Shortly after news of the agreement broke, LaVine threw some shade at the Bulls in an interview with Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

Zach LaVine has signed a four-year, $80 million offer sheet with the Sacramento Kings.

The Bulls have until Sunday, 48 hours from now, to inform the Kings that they will match their sheet and retain LaVine. "But Sacramento stepped up and made a strong impression". They could be tempted to do so after making LaVine part of the return for trading Jimmy Butler to Minnesota last summer (Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen were the other two players they received in the deal).

LaVine was one of the top free agents on the market.

LaVine was limited to just 24 games last season after he tore his ACL in February 2017. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because neither the Kings nor the Chicago Bulls announced the deal involving the 6-foot-5 guard who's going into his fifth National Basketball Association season.

LaVine was the No. 13 overall pick out of UCLA in the 2014 National Basketball Association draft.
