Danny Green Somehow Believes Spurs Have a Shot at Retaining Kawhi Leonard

The Lakers may no longer be the favored landing spot for Kawhi, but they are still among the teams with the best odds.

The Spurs are listed as the second team Leonard will likely play for next season followed by the Lakers and Clippers.

NBA reporter Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post suggested that the Raptors have moved into the lead to land Leonard by making some aggressive moves during the NBA Summer League. And another turn was added on Thursday when OddsShark declared the Toronto Raptors as even-money favorites to land the services of the Spurs superstar for the upcoming season.

Take a deep breath, Toronto Raptors fans.

Speaking about the album, she teased: "It's not what you think of when you think ABBA, 'cause I did it in a different way". One of the new songs, "I Still Have Faith in You", will be heard for the first time in a TV special in December.

Could Kawhi Leonard become a part of "the process?" With LeBron James out of the Eastern Conference, perhaps Raptors President of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri is willing to swing for the fences and move DeMar DeRozan or Kyle Lowry in such a deal.

Every day there seems to be new information coming out about potential trade packages for San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard. But a team's title window can close quickly, and the Raptors are now looking at an Eastern Conference without LeBron James. Unfortunately, it has been a while since we have last seen a healthy Kawhi Leonard. While the Sixers are chalk full of those assets, the chances of the team shipping Markelle Fultz to the Spurs are still very slim, as Robert Covington and Dario Saric still seem like the centerpieces of a deal.

With Leonard reportedly seeking a trade from the franchise that helped build him into a two-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year, speculation continues to swirl as to where the now 27-year-old Leonard will be playing when the 2018-19 season commences. That certainly plays in favor of the Lakers, as Leonard has stated that's where he wants to play.
