As I noted in a column in April, the press and others have sometimes characterized Cohen as the man who knows all of Trump's secrets or even, errantly, as someone who ran the Trump Organization with the president's children.

Fox News chief judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano on Wednesday weighed in on a newly released audio tape of a conversation between President Donald Trump and his former personal attorney Michael Cohen, explaining that the conversation could constitute proof of fraudulent behavior and jeopardize Trump's attorney-client privilege. Trump can be heard after saying, "check".

The government seized at last 12 audio tapes from Cohen, Trump's former longtime lawyer, a court filing on Monday revealed.

"It clearly indicates that the president did not want to pay with cash".

The tape's release marked a dramatic rupture in the relationship between the President and Cohen, previously a steadfast supporter in addition to working as Trump's personal attorney and longtime confidant.

Sergio Marchionne Currently in a Coma With Irreversible Brain Damage
The colourful and charismatic Marchionne became chairman of Ferrari in September 2014, replacing Luca di Montezemolo. Marchionne brought it back to profitability in just one year, recording income of almost 1.5 billion euros in 2005.

Last night, however, the Washington Post reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has actually "seized more than 100 recordings that Michael Cohen made of his conversations with people discussing matters that may relate to Trump and his businesses and with Trump himself talking". His new-found willingness to share details of his work will rattle the president. "It's salacious and meant to embarrass the president", explained Caputo. Cohen is under criminal investigation by the USA attorney's office in Manhattan for his personal financial dealings, including the payment he made to porn actress Stormy Daniels on Trump's behalf before the election, though he has not been charged with any wrongdoing.

"The tape is a complete bust!" echoed Nunberg. To the extent that his legal travails spill over onto the president, it's worrisome to the White House. There are, Mr Davis says, "a lot of other tapes".

The tape, made in September 2016, two months before the election, was provided to CNN by Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis. Having served as a special counsel to Bill Clinton, Davis' past involvement with American Media, Inc. I didn't know anything about this story prior to starting. "And I stand behind what I've transcribed and presented tonight for your show". "This is really outside of Lanny's valley walk".

The leaking of the tape and reports that there are further recordings has fanned speculation about how much damage Cohen can inflict on the president and whether he is now mulling a cooperation deal with federal prosecutors. Davis told Axios on Wednesday "there's more to come" in Cohen's fallout. "That's one of the things I think we have to get to the bottom of", Dershowitz said. The problem becomes there are too many fountains, and not enough buckets. People in litigation say things about one another then they settle and everything is fine.

Cohen's attorney Lenny Davis told the Post that Cohen's intent with the recordings was never deception. Daniels is represented by attorney Michael Avenatti.
