Grayson Allen's National Basketball Association career is off to a predictable start

Both players struggled in the first half, with Allen shooting 1-for-7 from the field and Young failing to convert a field goal on six attempts.

It took him all of two games to start mixing it up again. In Just his 2nd Summer League appearance, the Utah Jazz rookie set off an altercation between his side and Trae Young's Atlanta Hawks. Both players were given technical fouls, while Allen also received a personal foul for the initial contact.

After the game, Allen told reporters that he and Young were hugging. It's going to be a physical game.

Through the first few days of Summer League action, passion and competitive fire are about all Allen or Young have to show for themselves. The play occurred when Trae caught a pass at the top of the arch only to be met by Grayson's stiff defence. At one point in the fourth quarter, he forced three straight Atlanta turnovers, and he pulled down the final defensive rebound in the Jazz's 92-87 win.

Ah, the National Basketball Association summer league.
