Seri has not joined his Nice team-mates for their pre-season training camp, leading to suggestions that he could be set to finalise a move away.

Seri, who has previously spent time at ASEC Mimosas and Pacos de Ferreira, has featured over 120 times for Nice, scoring 11 goals. Barcelona were linked with Nice man last summer a but a move to the Premier League now looks likely with Chelsea and Arsenal set to lock horns for the transfer.

The Daily Star quoted French journalist Nabil Djellit as saying over the weekend that Seri had travelled to London to seal a move to England and claimed the midfielder was in talks with Arsenal and Chelsea.

It is understood the 26-year-old has a £35m release clause, which is in place until July 15, and his preference is to move to the Premier League.
