Usain Bolt set for six-week trial with Central Coast Mariners

Fifa 98's Usain Bolt is seen during an exhibition football match between France's 1998 World Cup's French football national team and FIFA 98 composed with former global players, to mark the 20th anniversary of France's 1998 World Cup victory, on June 12, 2018 at the U Arena in Nanterre, near Paris.

Olympic sprint star Usain Bolt's dream of becoming a professional footballer looks set to become reality, right here in Australia!

Mr Rallis said negotiations continued over Bolt's pay.

"We're not asking them to fund a trial".

"He has a very good left foot, and time will tell at what level he is at and if it fits the A-League... it would only be big if he could play and go really well", he said.

"It is crucial to note that all discussions between the Central Coast Mariners and Bolt require an initial six-week-trial period and no contract is guaranteed", a club statement read.

The eight-time Olympic champion retired from athletics a year ago following the World Championships in London and has not hidden his ambition of entering the professional football ranks.

"Once the FFA comes back and says that they'll be part of the process, we're going to the trial..."

Dengler also recommended that consumers check CamelCamelCamel , an Amazon price-checker, to ensure they're getting a good deal. Despite the bust out of the gate, Amazon has time to salvage the day if the problems are quickly fixed, Kodali said.

"I use my speed just like Rashford and Martial".

The 31-year-old champion sprinter has not commented publicly on the deal himself.

"We don't need it".

Since retiring from athletics, the Jamaican has trained with Borussia Dortmund and most recently linked up with Norwegian side Strømsgodset.

His trial would be similar to the one Jarryd Hayne underwent before earning a contract to play American Football.

The Mariners have also just signed former Manchester United coach and assistant manager Mike Phelan as their sporting director, who tweeted his excitement about taking on the job.

The former sprint king, who attended the World Cup final in Moscow on Sunday, has already had trials with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Stromsgodset in Norway.
