DC Universe's TITANS Series Premiere Date Revealed

DC's long-awaited streaming service has a launch date - plus, hey look, there are four new photos (below) from Titans and a premiere date for that show too.

As we move into the next phase of streaming media world dominance, in which studios launch their very own services with exclusive content in an effort to compete with Netflix (take a bow, Disney Play), Warner Bros. has announced (via a Kevin Smith-hosted live stream) that its DC Universe digital subscription service will launch in the USA on September 15, 2018.

Now, if you're asking yourself what this streaming service is - because there are quite a few of them these days - DC Universe is a digital subscription service that gives viewers access to exclusive content like all-new original live-action and animated series, classic TV series, films and more.

Spider-Man releases in September (next week, in fact!) but there will be more new Spider-Man in October, November, and December. Stevenson also revealed that "Spider-Man" will roughly take 20 hours to complete on the default difficulty.

Titans will serve as the first original series to debut on DC Universe and will help to launch the spin-off series Doom Patrol. The more realistic and bleak vibe is miles away from what fans of the Titans know, but we're really excited to see this new take on the young heroes. After announcing the service will launch on Batman day, DC also announced a release date for the highly-anticipated Titans live-action series, confirming it'll premiere almost a month after DC Universe launches.

In celebration of the countdown to launch, DC Universe is also offering "The Ultimate Batman Studio Tour Sweepstakes" to its subscribers. Just really excited to finally read some of the harder to find Golden Age comics that first introduced your fave heroes?
