With a roster spot vacated after Gabe Wright was released after sucker punching Kenyan Drake, the Dolphins were looking for a replacement that could add depth to the defensive front.

Veteran defensive tackle Kendall Langford signed with the Miami Dolphins on Tuesday, returning to the franchise he spent his first four seasons with as a starter.

According to ESPN.com, the incident between Wright and Drake happened during a practice on Monday.

An angry Drake tossed Wright's helmet to the sidelines after the skirmish.

The fight started when running back Senorise Perry was tackled to the ground unnecessarily for the third time of this particular series.

"Everyone is getting exhausted of hitting each other", offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said, per the Miami Herald.

Turkey's market collapse deepens as it takes first steps to ease crisis
The U.S. dollar tumbled more than 5 percent against Turkish lira on Tuesday, falling to 6.4591 after opening the day at 6.8839. President Trump last week imposed sanctions on Turkey over its refusal to release an imprisoned USA preacher.

He'll have two weeks to show Miami's coaches what he can bring to the team before the Dolphins must trim their 90-player training camp roster down to 53 on September 1.

"Just coming out here, being a jackass and running around, that doesn't help us either", Burke said.

Wright was fighting to make the Dolphins' 52-man roster after spending the majority of the 2017 campaign on the practice squad.

Wright appeared in one game for the Dolphins last season, recording one solo tackle in a December game against the Buffalo Bills.

The journeyman defensive lineman was a fourth-round pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2015 National Football League draft.
