HBO has picked up the drama "Euphoria" to series with both Drake and Future the Prince joining the show as executive producers, Variety has learned.

HBO ordered a pilot in March.

Rapper Drake is to set aside some time from his music to act as executive producer for the series "Euphoria". The series is derived from an Israeli series that carries the same name.

Euphoria does not yet have a release date on HBO. Keeping fans in suspense, Zendaya captioned the clip: 'Euphoria. A24 will produce the show. Zendaya stars as Rue, "a lying, drug-addicted 17-year-old girl who tells a story of sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship".

Delving deeper into the TV world, Drake is also involved in the return of British drama Top Boy. Francesca Orsi, senior vice president of drama at HBO, described the original series as "Kids meets Trainspotting, and what might exist when parents don't exist". Future the Prince serves as Drake's DJ and manager.

As previously mentioned, Euphoria is based on a 2012 Israeli show of the same name and will bring on numerous show's original creators as producers.

Actor, producer Zendaya is best known for her role as K.C on the hit Disney Channel series K.C.
