Inter Ask Bernard’s Representatives To Hold Off Doing Anything With Milan
The wide-man is a free agent following the end of his contract at Shakhtar Donetsk and his agents have been holding talks with a number of clubs.
Bernard is said to be favouring a move to Milan, with more meetings scheduled today.
West Ham and Chelsea were also interested in signing the attacking midfielder, but Everton appear to have won the race for his signature, subject to work permit approval.
The playmaker was also considering offers from both Milan clubs but has decided that Everton is the best move for him as he looks to make the jump from to Europe's big leagues.
Rookie becomes rare Englishwoman to win British Open
Pornanong, also seeking her first major and LPGA title, double-bogeyed No. 17 to leave Hall with a three-shot lead down the last. She was named in honour of that victory, which came after Faldo overcame a six-stroke deficit to Greg Norman in the final round.
The forward, who can play on the left or behind the striker, joined Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013 for around £25m but his career then went into reverse.
But Everton face a fight with French club Lyon to sign Barcelona's Colombian global centre-back Yerry Mina.
Reports in Spain over the weekend claimed Everton had struck a deal but Lyon still hope to lure him with the prospect of Champions League football.
