Fernando Alonso has been 'overrated' claims Jody Scheckter

Fernando Alonso

At 37-years-old, a likely exhausted and worn out Alonso, with no realistic winning options on offer in F1 for 2019, has chosen to close the curtain on a career in Grand Prix racing spanning 17 years and including 32 wins and two world titles.

But just who is Fernando Alonso? I had a close relationship with Michael.

During a Tuesday afternoon media conference call, Ryan Hunter-Reay, who was one of Alonso's teammates with Andretti Autosport in the 2017 500, praised the possibility of Alonso coming to IndyCar full-time.

Alonso claimed two wins at the Spanish Grand Prix, which takes place at the Circuit de Catalunya.

Alonso made his F1 debut back in 2001, and the 37-year-old is now the most experienced driver on the Formula 1 grid, with more than 300 starts.

Michael Angarano To Play Jack's Brother On 'This Is Us'
In "The Car", Jack told Randall and Kevin that Nicky died in the war, notes Entertainment Weekly . Michael Angarano is going from playing one Jack's son to another Jack's brother.

But for many Formula 1 drivers, the image was a sad one of a driver who should have been near the front of the grid, but because of mechanical problems and an uncompetitive auto left him fighting at the back. You can not name who is going to win each race. There's a long list of winners even from this year.

"It would be appealing to me, if I were him". I was young and eager to absorb all the knowledge of a seven-time champion, and Schumacher treated me very well. Outside of the race auto, I had zero problems with Alonso, we have always maintained a healthy working relationship. He's as hungry as ever to win. "INDYCAR stock continues to rise for that reason". He raced in 96 races for Ferrari, won 11 of them with a further 33 podium finishes Alonso has been with McLaren since 2015, but has not gained a podium finish in that time.

More recently, he won the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans race and is now in first place in the ongoing 2018-2019 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship, solidifying his status as one of the world's elite auto racers.

IndyCar is hot - and Alonso coming onboard would only make it hotter and more appealing to open-wheel racing fans not just in the USA and the rest of North America, but globally, as well.

Alonso mainly draws his impressive wealth from his successful auto racing career, having won the Formula One World Championship twice and the Euro Open by Nissan and the 24 Hours of Le Mans races once apiece. We saw that in many racing teams he drove for. "Maybe he could have made more of his talent without this trait".
