Here’s When, Where Tiger Woods-Phil Mickelson Showdown Reportedly Will Happen

There's also no word on whether or not Tiger and Phil will be putting up any of their own money, which would obviously make the match more intriguing, or whether TV money earned from the event will go to charity.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will compete against one another for $10 million on Thanksgiving weekend, per ESPN's Mike Greenberg. The purse has yet to be finalized, per Greenberg, but previously was reported to be $10 million.

The broadcast event will offer a special feature, as the two can show off their trash-talk game, agreeing to wear microphones during the match.

Inter Milan make contact with Luka Modrics agents over Real Madrid departure
Those snapped included Giuseppe Riso, Pedja Mijatovic and Modric's prime agent, Vlado Lemic all in front of a local hotel. If a deal doesn't materialise for Modric, Madrid will feel obligated to offer the midfielder an improved contract.

"It took me a while to get comfortable with the idea of dancing on what would be on national television, but once I did, it was so much fun to shoot", Mickelson told ESPN.

Even for Woods and Mickelson, who rank first and second on the career money leaderboard (with $112.2m and $87.6m respectively), the prize is a difference-maker. "And the fact that this isn't an official tournament, that it's just a head-to-head match, you'll hear some of the little nuances, some of the little things that you don't normally pick up".

Steinberg made the comments at the Firestone Country Club, where Woods and Mickelson are playing in this week's WBC-Bridgestone Invitational and, interestingly, played a nine-hole practice round together Wednesday. The first one was dubbed the "Showdown at Sherwood" between Woods and Duval, when they were Nos 1 and 2 in the world.
