An aide to Melania TrumpMelania TrumpMcCarthy wants Twitter to ban candidate for offensive remarks about Melania Trump The Hill's 12:30 Report The Hill's Morning Report: GOP House divided ahead of midterm elections MORE fired back Wednesday at an OR congressional candidate who tweeted an insult at the first lady.

"There are thirty-nine fewer staffers dedicated to The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) than under Obama There are only five staffers dedicated to Melania Trump vs. forty-four staffers who served Michelle Obama", Kirk tweeted Monday. Charlie Kirk is president of the conservative organization Turning Point USA.

As of writing, Roberts' tweet remains up, and his account active.

It turns out that Ms. Grisham isn't the only one who has voiced her disapproval of the tweet.

United States culture ‘less hospitable to people of faith,’ AG Sessions says
Sessions also said it was inappropriate that judicial and executive branch nominees were being asked about their religious dogma. Sessions says that he believes one reason President Donald Trump was elected was because "he said he respected people of faith".

Roberts fired back with a tweet claiming the First Lady worked "by the hour", followed by #thinkdirty and #hoebag, leading McCarthy to call on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to ban Roberts from Twitter.

Both Laura Ingraham of Fox News and Donald Trump, Jr. also tweeted about their displeasure with the attack on FLOTUS, in addition to a number of other Twitter members. "This account should be banned ASAP".

Apparently the founder of Twitter did not agree with their concerns, however.

The House candidate in question is Mark Roberts, an Independent running to represent Oregon.
