Joe Hart has left Manchester City to join Burnley on an initial two-year deal for a fee worth around £3.5m.

Hart made only one appearance for City after Guardiola became manager in 2016, and has spent the past two seasons on loan at Torino and West Ham.

He's now departed on a permanent basis as he looks to fight his way back into England contention, having missed out on the World Cup squad this summer.

The arrival of Hart strengthens Burnley's impressive goalkeeping ranks following a dislocated shoulder sustained by Nick Pope at Aberdeen that will keep him on the sidelines for a time.

Hart's role at City was reduced with the arrival of Pep Guardiola, but the 75-time worldwide insists he holds nothing but affection for City despite his desire to pursue a permanent move away.

Nearly 1000 people who have had "contact" with the virus have been registered in health zones under surveillance, it said. Health authorities say they have no evidence the two are connected.

Both Pope and Heaton are also England internationals.

Oddly, Burnley team are now stuck fast amid something of a 'keeper crisis, with both Tom Heaton and Nick Pope out injured.

Dyche has reservations over the immediate fitness of Heaton, who has not played for 11 months and is now struggling with a calf injury. City will be due payments depending on Burnley's progression in the Europa League and Premier League.

City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said: "Joe Hart's contribution to Manchester City can not be overstated". His 12 years at the club has seen him produce some remarkable performances and heart-stopping saves that will live in the memory for a long time to come.

"He will rightly be regarded as a City legend in perpetuity".
