Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Kim Woodburn, 76, locked horns with Loose Women's Coleen Nolan, 53, on today's show.

The pair famously fell out when they were both contestants on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

In her statement, she explained how she had not requested Kim appear on the show, and branded the heated discussion as 'incredibly unpleasant'.

Her rep said: "Kim was invited on to Loose Women as she was told Coleen wanted to hold peace talks with her".

'However, when Kim walked on set, Coleen refused to speak first and made Kim do all the talking. She was told Coleen wanted to bury the hatchet.

The Sun online reports that Kim was left very upset by the altercation.

A spokesperson for Loose Women responded: "Kim agreed to come onto the panel today at the invitation of the producers on the understanding it was for reconciliation with Coleen".

The ITV lunchtime programme featured ugly scenes on Wednesday when the 'How Clean Is Your House?' star became embroiled in a furious row with the Nolan sisters singer.

The 59-year-old said she began self-harming after the death of her husband, Brian Hudson, from skin cancer in 2007. You have been conned by Kim, she's an absolute fruit loop.

"I didn't tell you how vile you are, self-centred mean witch".

Linda added: "I'm shaking - it was like the Jeremy Kyle show!"

During the show, Kim accused Coleen of making her life "hell" and "bullying her with seven other people" during their time in the CBB house.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.

They added: "She was offered counselling after the show, which she has declined".

"I've had a very sad childhood, it was awful". Coleen's sister Linda was also on the panel, and told Kim she was "talentless", while Kim called Coleen "trash", and Linda Robson a "phoney".

Linda said: "I'm not being too faced, I'm trying to comfort you!"

Undeterred, Kim continued: "A brutal rotten childhood. All those memories of those years come back".

And Coleen interjected and replied: "I was two-faced in the house". I was terribly upset. "And I will do all I can to get them off it".

In response, Kim said she was leaving.

"I'll never forget what the likes of her and others put me through".

During the spat, Woodburn abruptly left the set and disrupted attempts to introduce a commercial break.
