After being bombarded with a barrage of Pixel 3 XL leaks, we finally have a pleasant surprise when it comes to the Google Pixel 3. The upcoming flagship smartphone with its Super Selfies is expected to be announced in early October, along with the smaller Pixel 3. The display notch has been a big point of contention with the Pixel 3 XL leaks. It's a comprehensive leak, since addition to showing off the outside and physical design, it also gives us a good look at the claimed internals.

The images show us exactly what we've come to expect thanks to the rumors that have circulated.

"The specs confirmed in these pics show a 5.5" 2160×1080 resolution 18:9 aspect ratio display, with a 2915mAh battery.

The leak was detected Wednesday night - possibly from a micrometeorite strike - resulting in a small loss of cabin pressure. The leak was found in the Soyuz craft, which is docked with the ISS, reported Russian space chief Dmitry Rogozin.

Like the Pixel 2, it still appears to have a single rear camera, but may have two front-facing cameras like rumored for the Pixel 3 XL. The app also confirms the hardware specs of the dual front camera setup (both 8MP) with one sensor offering dual aperture f/1.8-f/2.2 while the other has fixed f/1.8, though the poster speculates the hardware specs app could be getting confused.

If you'll remember, Russian bloggers had already revealed practically everything about a larger Pixel 3 XL - at least assuming the incredibly convincing handsets they may have obtained from a Ukrainian black market dealer don't turn out to be clever fakes. Elsewhere on the rear, Google's "G" can be seen towards the bottom of the panel while towards the top of the frosted glass section is a circular fingerprint scanner.

What do you think of the Pixel 3? Prefer this model without the notch?
