Authorities say multiple suspects have been arrested after crashing into a Philadelphia police vehicle following a reported shooting at a Walmart in Cheltenham on Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the Cedarbrook Plaza Shopping Center at 1000 Easton Road shortly after 6 p.m.

A police SUV was also struck by a auto as police respond to another active crime scene nearby. The suspect then got into a tussle with police.

It was not immediately clear why the suspect may have opened fire in the Walmart. His vehicle had rammed a police auto while apparently attempting a getaway, reports state.

Celebrity Big Brother start date confirmed
There has been no confirmation on the release date of Big Brother 2018; however, we have a rough guess, and it might just be true. Celebrity Big Brother airs two series annually, with the summer installment immediately following the "civilian" series.

Two officers were hospitalized after the crash, according to the paper. A gun was recovered on the 8200 block of Cheltenham Ave.

No word on the officers' or victim's conditions at this time or motive for the shooting.

This is a developing story.
