He flew to Philadelphia on Tuesday night for the procedure. According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Penny flew to Philadelphia last night and is having surgery to fix the finger injury that includes a broken bone first thing Wednesday morning. The Seahawks' first game is September 9, when they go on the road to play the Broncos.

The Seahawks selected Penny in the first round of this year's NFL Draft to add some power to the run game. After it, offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was asked if Penny was OK.

"I don't have any doubt about what he's capable of doing", Carroll said. "I haven't heard yet, but I think so". Penny twice stonewalled rookie fifth-round pick Shaquem Griffin, and also stopped undrafted rookie Jake Pugh.

Also named was Profinet director general Vasili Aleksandrovich Kolchanov, whom the Treasury said "was personally involved" in deals with the North Koreans.

The 22-year-old Penny was a star at San Diego State, leading the country with 2,248 rushing yards in 2017.

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Rashaad Penny, one of the favorite "sleeper picks" of fantasy football players everywhere, will reportedly be sidelined for 3-4 weeks after suffering a broken finger in Monday's practice.

In April, Penny became only the third running back the Seahawks drafted in the first round, after Curt Warner and Shaun Alexander.
