Take That, Note 9: New iPhones Will Get Apple Pencil

Is Apple finally bringing stylus support to the iPhone

Is Apple finally bringing stylus support to the iPhone

The Apple Pencil now is quite long, and much longer than the iPhone itself, which could be quite uncomfortable and odd to use on the iPhone. However, a recent video of mockups of 2018 iPhones has all but confirmed that none of the three models has the provision/space to stow away a stylus.

Some critics have argued that Apple artificially limits its use to the iPad and there's no reason it couldn't work on other devices.

The latest string of leaks reveals that the upcoming iPhones will sport an AMOLED display while the less expensive version will come with an LCD screen. Speaking to India's NDTV, Cook remarked: "If you've ever seen what can be created with that Pencil on an iPad or iPhone, it's really unbelievable".

Although rumours have outlined several features of the new iPhones, TrendForce claims that Apple might launch Apple Pencil support for its upcoming flagship lineup.

We need a lot of work together and it is my responsibility first, to give this compact block and to give this attacking balance. On Kovacic's role in the team going forward, Sarri added: "I think he can play in any of the three positions in midfield".

Regarding the prices, TrendForce believes that Apple is bound to adjust its pricing strategies, influenced by Chinese brands that have successfully expanded their market shares with products that offer high performances at affordable prices. Meanwhile, all three models are expected to be "shipped in September and October as previously scheduled".

"Moreover, Apple will need to improve its cost structure to cope with the threats brought by Android brands". However, Apple is expected to limit the Dual-SIM functionality to certain regions.

"The specs upgrades would make new iPhones more favorable in the competition with Android phones".

Apple will unveil three new iPhones next month, including an affordable iPhone X successor with an LCD screen as well as two premium models that will have OLED displays like the iPhone X. All three devices will deliver the same core features, which means the cheapest model will be nearly as powerful and fast as the most expensive one. This, along with the less costly display, should see Apple price the new device at, or around, the $699 price point, the report says. The OLED versions of the handsets are expected to start at Dollars 899, which is a USD 100 drop from last year's iPhone X. Meanwhile, the 6.5-inch iPhone model is expected to aim for the "premium business segment" with a starting price of $999.
