The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 1 6

The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 1 6

Cassady McClincy (Love, Simon) is joining the Season 9 cast of AMC's The Walking Dead in a key recurring role, Deadline has confirmed. We already know the latter group will appear in season nine, headed by new series regular Samantha Morton (Minority Report) as their leader Alpha, but how Lydia plays into the central conflict now that Carl has bit the dust remains to be seen.

Interestingly, Lydia becomes romantically involved with Carl Grimes after abandoning her mum's group to fight alongside the survivors.

The Walking Dead is adding another character from the comics into its game-changing ninth season. How the show will adjust for all the shifting characters and scenarios that will further distinguish it from the comics is all just a fun part of the speculation, until The Walking Dead returns to AMC beginning this October 7.

Sacha Baron Cohen resurrects Ali G to taunt Trump for legal woes
Cohen writes, "u corrected all dem stupid fake news scientists who said dat humanoids have only been around for 300,000 years". The note shared Thursday was addressed to his "main man President Ronald Trump".

And though the show takes place in a post-Negan world, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's chatty wannabe dictator is still around, locked in a prison cell and going through his own struggles.

The Walking Dead is going to be introducing many a new character in season 9, with one of the clear intentions here being their attempts to really reset the series and try to move forward knowing that the exit of Andrew Lincoln as Rick is right around the corner.

Other new cast members for the ninth season include Dan Fogler (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) as Luke, Nadia Hilker (The 100) as Magna, Eleanor Matsuura (Into the Badlands) as Yumiko, and Lauren Ridloff (Wonderstruck) as Connie. But the TV storyline is unclear following Carl's (Chandler Riggs) shocking death last season.
