Cech was heavily criticized on social media following Arsenal's 0-2 defeat in the hands of Manchester City despite making some fine saves.

The Spaniard brought Bernd Leno in from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, but the German warmed the bench during Arsenal's Premier League opener against City as Cech manned the posts. "But if we start with Bernd, I believe in him also". If Bernd starts [in the future], I believe in him also.

"I am not criticising Guendouzi's performance", Keown told the Daily Mail.

"The fans have been waiting for many years for a top quality, experienced central midfielder but against Manchester City, they started a 19-year-old from the French second division".

Arsenal now also face an issue in the left-back position after the man who played in that position v Man City, Ainsley Maitland Niles was ruled out for up to two months with a broken leg.

Police are still waiting for toxicology results, but believe the victims had been using synthetic marijuana - also known as K2. Three more overdoses were reported at the Green Tuesday night, but officials could not confirm whether they were related.

Replying to the video, they tweeted 'in case you were all wondering how to play out of the back', posting a video of the recent departure Leno playing the ball out confidently from the back eventually leading to a Leverkusen goal. Leno is now on the fringes of the German National Team and certainly could be a starter for Die Mannschaft.

"We need to keep our personality, keep our mentality", Emery said. One player who received much of the criticism was goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Experienced Swiss worldwide Lichtsteiner is a right-back by trade and Emery is hopeful Monreal will be fit to face Chelsea after returning to training this week.

"The first injury with Kolasinac was important because I think he was playing well in pre-season". He can play at left-back but his position in the team is more at right-back.

One problem area for Emery may be solved by the return of Nacho Monreal at left-back.
