Caver sues Elon Musk for defamation

Elon Musk, the chief executive of Tesla Inc, was sued on Monday for defamation for allegedly suggesting that one of the rescuers of 12 boys and their soccer coach from a Thailand cave in July was a pedophile.

Musk and the British cave explorer, Vernon Unsworth, have been locked in a heated back-and-forth for weeks after Unsworth questioned Musk's efforts to aid in the rescue of the Thai boys soccer team.

The case adds to a slew of litigation against Musk, including over his running of Palo Alto, California-based Tesla, which the billionaire has said has caused him severe stress. The device was not used and Unsworth called it a PR stunt.

"Elon Musk falsely accused Vern Unsworth of being guilty of heinous crimes", Unsworth's attorney L. Lin Wood said in a statement. On Twitter, Musk made the unfounded claim that he was a "pedo" or pedophile.

Pregnant Carrie Underwood Reveals She Had 3 Miscarriages in Last 2 Years
Can I be mad? Fearing she would suffer another miscarriage, Underwood looked for answers from a higher power. The 35-year-old singer tells host Tracy Smith that she'd suffered three miscarriages in two years.

Musk apologized for his tweet on July 18, saying "his actions against me do not justify my actions against him", and that "the fault is mine and mine alone". However, Unsworth took note a month later when Musk tweeted, "You don't think it's odd he hasn't sued me?"

Well, here ya go, Elon.

Mr Musk later accused Mr Unsworth of moving to Thailand to be with a bride who was about 12 years old.
