David Luiz: 'I believe in Maurizio Sarri philosophy'

That's according to former Blues midfielder Claude Makelele, who says that he is confident the former Napoli manager will be a success.

The Brazilian fell out of favour under Antonio Conte last season and was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer before re-establishing himself under Sarri.

His free-flowing attacking style helping to appease the fans who have so far seen nothing less than a ideal start in the Premier League - taking four wins from four games prior to the global break.

Darke concedes the fact that a title charge may be out of the question considering the long continental trips Chelsea have been assigned in their Europa League group but is, however, more adamant that, "Sarri's big achievement already has been to put his team into the conversation". The Blues beat Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Bournemouth to take second position in the standings, behind Liverpool.

The Belgium worldwide was though swiftly replaced by Kepa, who signed for a world-record £71.6m fee for a goalkeeper from Athletic Bilbao.

"But the Premier League is very competitive, other teams have a lot of good players and it will not be easy".

While some appreciate their royal connection, others have a more problematic relationship with their historical bloodline. While the teaser focused on the series' stacked cast, the trailer sheds some light on its story.

Chelsea winger Willian has claimed that he'd like to stay at Stamford Bridge for another 5 years if possible, with the Brazil global recently celebrating being with the Blues for half-a-decade.

"I think Chelsea changed a lot", he said.

Injury problems allied to him falling out with Conte restricted Luiz to just ten league appearances last season but he looks set to be a central figure in the new regime.

"These kinds of players give a different story about Chelsea than the way we knew Chelsea before".

Cesar Azpilicueta has been as reliable as every since moving back to the right side of defence while Marcos Alonso has done well at left-back so far this season so they should retain their places against Cardiff.

And with no Champions League football to contend with this season, Sarri can possibly put all of his eggs into the Premier League basket.
