'Let's not lie, my goal was better than Salah's', says Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo believes the overhead bicycle kick he scored for Real Madrid against his current club Juventus last season was better than Mohamed Salah's which won the Federation Internationale de Football Association goal of the year award.

The Egyptian's effort beat Cristiano Ronaldo's gravity-defying bicycle kick, from Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League quarter-final win against Juventus, Gareth Bale's acrobatic finish in the final and Riley McGree's unbelievable scorpion kick goal from Newcastle Jets' A-League semi-final win over Melbourne City.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no stranger to stirring up some controversy and he was back at it again on Thursday as he claimed Mohamed Salah didn't deserve to win the Puskas Award. "But let's be honest, let's not lie to ourselves, my goal was the best", Ronaldo told his 142 million Instagram followers.

Salah took home the award earlier this week for his strike against Everton in the Merseyside derby last season.

Brett Kavanaugh, "I Like Beer": Twitter Reactions and Memes
Klobuchar joins "CBS This Morning" from Washington to discuss the judge's temperament and the Republican senators' strategy. During the interview period, when Kavanaugh was asked about his drinking habits, he said, "I drank beer with my friends".

"The prizes are prizes, I already have several." he noted.

"We're serious, come on, of course mine was the best, but life is like that, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose". I play to win and not to win awards.

In addition, he took advantage of the moment (five days later) to congratulate former Real Madrid teammate Modric for winning the award: "Congratulations to Modric for winning".

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored three goals this season for his new club Juventus in the Italian Serie A.
