General Manager John Dorsey is in his year with the Cleveland Browns.

Gonzalez, who missed a field goal that would have seen the Browns beat the Steelers in week one, stepped up for the extra point that would have made amends for his earlier miscues, but pushed his kick wide left.

Let me reiterate that: just 18 of the 53 players to earn their stripes on Cleveland's opening day roster in 2017 have taken the field in 2018. He also missed both of his extra-point attempts.

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly signing Greg Joseph to replace Zane Gonzalez. It sucks because we were so close to that win and it's been so long.

Patriots reportedly close to trading for Browns WR Josh Gordon
Gordon burst onto the scene in 2014, leading the National Football League with 1,646 receiving yards in only 14 games. Don't feel too bad for Gordon. there are reportedly a bunch of teams licking their chops for a shot at signing him.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Gonzalez has been kicking with a groin injury that requires an MRI. Gonzalez never appeared on the team's injury report and it is unclear if Gonzalez kept the injury to himself. The missed field goals were Gonzalez's second and third misses of the season.

The Browns started the fourth quarter with possession of the football and marched from their own 18-yard line to the New Orleans 26, but when the offense stalled, Gonzalez was sent onto the field for a 44-yard attempt.

Drew Brees then marched New Orleans up the field for a field goal that put the home side 21-18 in front - but there was still time for more drama.
