Just one day after fans watched Colton Underwoodbreak up with Tia Booth on Bachelor in Paradise, he was announced as the next Bachelor. "I think it took all of that to get to where I'm at now and know who I am as a person and know what I want in a life partner". The 26-year-old former National Football League star is familiar to viewers thanks to his 4th-place finish on Becca Kufrin's recent season of The Bachelorette, followed by a stint on Bachelor in Paradise.
"I cried every freaking day", she told ET's Lauren Zima at the Bachelor in Paradise reunion taping last week.
"Third time is the charm".
Booth noted that she's thankful that this chapter has ended and she wished Colton the best as they both work on beginning new chapters.
"I think that's one thing that I took pride in on those seasons, just being true to who I am", Underwood told Strahan on national TV. Colton noted. "That's what I'm hoping for". "That's what I'm looking forward to the most, is being engaged and getting married shortly after that", he said.
