PATRICK STEWART's First STAR TREK Revival Photo

On Monday, Patrick Stewart tweeted a photo as work began on his return to the Star Trek universe, where he'll once again play Captain Jean-Luc Picard in a new untitled series for CBS All Access.

Little has been revealed about the new show, except that it's said to "follow the next chapter of Picard's life".

Tom Brady reacts to Jimmy Garoppolo's injury: 'I feel bad for him'
He missed the next 15 games, and that is the only extended absence he has had due to injury throughout his entire career. Although, chances are high that the team's fear that it is a season-ending torn ACL will be realized.

The fan-favorite actor tweeted a picture of himself with the planned series' writers and producers this morning including longtime Star Trek fan Akiva Goldsman who helped produce the first season of Star Trek: Discovery and wrote an episode for the season. You can check out the photo below that Stewart shared, which includes writers Kirsten Beyer (Star Trek: Discovery), Michael Chabon (John Carter), Oscar victor Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), Diandra Pendleton-Thompson (Lucky Night), and Emmy nominee James Duff (Major Crimes). Also executive producing are Heather Kadin of Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment President Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry, son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, and Roddenberry Entertainment COO Trevor Roth. Given that this is on CBS All Access, should there be any connection between this series and Discovery? Other than that, there's not too much to look into here, unless you can zoom and enhance your way towards reading the script pages on the table; let us know what you find out. "For over 20 years, fans have hoped for the return of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and that day is finally here. Seeking out a new life for him, when I thought that life was over". "I look forward to working with our brilliant creative team as we endeavor to bring a fresh, unexpected and pertinent story to life once more".
