Pallett referred to Coronation Street actor Thomas as a "woman-beater", and broke down in the diary room, demanding that he be removed from the house.

After watching the short video, the star appeared visibly shocked, as he confessed: I told her to show me what he did, and she swung, so I said, "that's not right". She said: 'We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate'.

While striking up close bond with Roxanne Pallett, the Married at First Sight star admitted he felt "mugged off" after watching the clip of the "play fight" between the actress and Ryan Thomas.

In Thursday's episode Pallett said she was upset by the altercation, which allegedly took place in the kitchen of the Big Brother house.

"Then when she was at the event, she says he came up to her and said to her again, 'I hope you haven't brought that dress and you're not going to wear it tonight'".

The actress asked to sleep in a separate bedroom because she "didn't feel comfortable" sleeping in the same room. "Whether you meant to hurt Roxanne or not is irrelevant".

"This caused Roxanne to say "Ow, that bloody hurt".

While Roxanne Pallett, 35, laughed at the interaction at the time, she later complained about Ryan in the Diary Room and demanded he be removed from the house.

Markle was in London on August 29 for a gala performance of the musical "Hamilton," which she attended alongside Prince Harry , who was raising money for his HIV charity Sentebale.

After fans argued that Roxanne's reaction to the incident "made a mockery of domestic violence", her rep issued a statement.

'She would be very upset to find out she may have caused offence to others who have been through the same.

During scenes which aired in the latest episode of CBB, Roxanne accused Ryan of punching her "repeatedly".

"Before you entered the Big Brother house, rules regarding unacceptable behaviour were explained to you". From his over the top reactions to his insane laugh he's been nothing but good fun!

The family of actor Ryan Thomas has sprung to his defence, writing via his Twitter account: "What happened tonight was ridiculously unfair and it's actually scary to see how another individual can try and actively tarnish someone's character!" Don't let them dampen your light brother!

Celebrity Big Brother continues on Channel 5.

'An estimated 1.2 million women experienced domestic abuse a year ago alone; while you might not think you know someone who has experienced domestic abuse, it is highly likely that you do'.
