Tom Arnold has worked on a series called"The Hunt for Trump Tapes. He apparently had some type of confrontation with producer Mark Burnett on Sunday night

Arnold and Burnett have been at loggerheads since former Apprentice candidate Arnold claimed Apprentice producer Burnett is withholding tapes of President Trump using the N-word on the show's set.

But Burnett's wife, Roma Downey, said the actor "ambushed" them, leaving her with a bruised hand.

In response, Downey tweeted a picture of a hand injury, writing, "Got this bruise tonight when Tom Arnold tried to ambush my husband Mark and me at a charity event". "I love Mark Burnett, by the way, [Trump's] buddy who sits at the prayer breakfast with him, that created this guy, this fake, that people in Iowa - where I'm from - think is this genius businessman from TV", Arnold said.

"Mark Burnett, Tom Arnold is there anyway that we could get together and talk?"

The LAPD has not yet responded to The Hollywood Reporter's request for comment, but Arnold's lawyer Marty Singer claims that Burnett "attacked" Arnold.

Deadline reports that after the incident Arnold was telling onlookers that he had obtained Apprentice tapes and passed them along to reporter Ronan Farrow, whose reporting on film producer Harvey Weinstein and TV executive Les Moonves' alleged sexual misconduct helped bring them down.

Arnold tweeted later that documentary filmmaker Bryan Fogel, who won the feature documentary Oscar this year for "Icarus", was with him during the scuffle and "has tape".

The duo were entering the Evening Before the Emmys event in West Los Angeles when Arnold ran into Burnett. You lie like your insane husband attgacked me you psycho.
