A woman in Virginia found a freaky surprise in her flower bed last week: a copperhead snake with not one, but two heads on a single body. If the snake survives, it will be donated to a zoo for an educational exhibit. "Wild bicephalic snakes are exceptionally rare, because they just don't live that long".

According to the news report, the baby Eastern Copperhead was taken to the Wildlife Center of Virginia in Waynesboro for radiographs so that the officials could examine the snake and figure out how the two heads functioned along with the single body.

Two heads better? Virginia Wildlife Management/Splash News Two heads better? "It appears as though the left head is more dominant - it's generally more active and responsive to stimulus", the Wildlife Center of Virginia said in a statement.

The venomous viper (Agkistrodon contortrix) was discovered on Sunday 16 September, and has been removed to the care of an private reptile keeper with experience in handling vipers, until they can make more permanent arrangements.

The two-headed snake was around six-inches but when fully grown, copperheads can measure 18-36-inches.

CBN takes over Skye Bank, announces a new name
On July 4, 2016, the CBN intervened in Skye Bank to salvage depositors' funds and to ensure the sustainability of the bank. He added that although the bank's performance improved afterwards, the bank needs urgent recapitalization.

One commenter said, 'This is what nightmares are made of'.

"I wanted to look away but couldn't stop looking at it", Stephanie Myers, who made the shocking discovery, told USA Today.

Although the snake's left head is more dominant, its anatomy would indicate the right head would be better suited for eating.

Although the copperhead is venomous, the herpetologist claimed that the "little guy" wasn't much of a danger to the people around it, stating the viper was mainly attacking insects.
