Browns are trading RB Carlos Hyde to Jaguars for 5th round pick

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Browns are dealing starting RB Carlos Hyde to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He's averaging almost 10 yards per carry.

Browns general manager John Dorsey continues to revamp the team's roster and add picks. After six games, they've shipped him off to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a fifth-round pick.

NFL Network's Michael Silver reports the decision to trade for Hyde was motivated by building frustration with Fournette's inability to stay healthy, especially from the Jaguars' coaches.

Former 49ers second-round pick Carlos Hyde left San Francisco for Cleveland in free agency this offseason.

Amid such tensions, immediately after the college attack, numerous Russian officials suggested Ukraine could be implicated. Teenagers and staff were among the dead, the teacher added, and at least 50 people were injured in the attack.

But the veteran Hyde has carried the bulk of the load for Cleveland, and now he'll head to Jacksonville to join T.J. Yeldon in lieu of Fournette, who has been ruled out this week after being active twice in the Jaguars' first six games.

The first major trade of the National Football League season just happened.

The trade clears the way for rookie running back Nick Chubb, selected 35th overall in the 2018 draft, to take over as the primary back. Chubb had only three carries for 25 yards last week in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

"We need to get more", said Jackson. Duke has 111 yards off just 19 carries this season, but is also an accomplished young woman catcher. I think that is what you were seeing yesterday. "As these games get a little closer, they do not get too far away and we can get up whatever that is, we do need to give Nick Chubb more carries".
