EPL: Sarri finally responds to Hazard's comments about Real Madrid move

Chelsea will host Man Utd at Stamford Bridge on Saturday following the resumption of the English Premier League.

Hazard refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid, but the Belgian attacker has now reaffirmed his interest to stay.

Calderon suggested Chelsea are denying Hazard the chance to play at one of Europe's elite clubs, but Sarri believes the Belgium captain can achieve everything he wants in London.

"Slavery was abolished a long time ago".

"Chelsea were clear to me; I could not leave (in the summer)".

The news will be a relief for Chelsea who are reportedly desperate to keep Hazard at the club and plan to make him the best paid player in the club's history. Merson admits he is a keen admirer of the Belgian before outlining what Hazard needs to do in order to be considered in the same plane as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at the very top of football's elite.

Hazard spoke recently saying he was still tempted by the thought of representing Los Blancos.

CHELSEA want to win titles, not sell players, and that is why selling Eden Hazard would be hard for them.

"Every Chelsea fan in London and around the world loves Eden Hazard".

"It is a hard decision".

The Belgium international's future has been a source of debate during the global break following a prolific start to the Premier League season.

Contrary to recent rumours, Tiemoue Bakayoko is not intending to return to Chelsea in January, says Calciomercato.com.
