Virat Kohli India vs Windies 2018

Dhoni was seen walking out of the ground with Khaleel Ahmed after India thrashed Windies by 224 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the ongoing five-match ODI series.

India were in a spot of bother when Ambati Rayudu joined Rohit Sharma in the centre and together the duo, smashed the Windies bowlers and tossed away many records by the wayside.

Only captain Jason Holder, with an unbeaten 54, offered any resistance as his side were skittled for 153 in just 36.2 overs, with Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav claiming three wickets apiece.

Should Bucs shop Jameis Winston at trade deadline?
With Fitzpatrick leading the offense, the Bucs tied the game in the final minute, only to lose on a last-second field goal. The Buccaneers tried to ride Fitzpatrick's hot hand even after the 2015 No. 1 pick returned from the suspension.

Earlier, Rohit belted an explosive 137-ball 162, laced with 20 boundaries and four sixes, but importantly crucial from the team's point of view, forged a 211-run third wicket stand with the other centurion Rayudu (100 off 81 balls; 4X8, 6X4) to propel the hosts to a mammoth 377/5. The 31-year-old Rohit also admitted that India were under pressure after losing Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli cheaply. Hopefully he has solved all the mysteries of number 4.

A rare failure after three consecutive tons, Kohli's early departure gave Rayudu, the newly-anointed No.4 the ideal platform to not only stamp his authority but also cement his place in the build up to the ICC World Cup in 2019. He (Rayudu) batted brilliantly because at that point a big partnership was needed and it was a flawless platform for him also to showcase what he's got. "So it was a pressure innings and I thought he responded well to that situation", Sharma was quoted as saying in the post-match press conference.
