Pricing hasn't yet been announced, but the package will come with a full factory warranty and be limited to just 500 cars when it goes on sale in early 2019. Built as a collaboration with Vaughn Gittin Jr. and his RTR team, the auto consists mostly of aesthetic modifications to a Performance Pack 1-equipped Mustang GT or EcoBoost.

To set it apart from your run-of-the-mill Mustangs, the Series 1 changes up the front end design with an RTR grille, lighting and graphics package. The vehicle is called the Series 1 RTR, and it's built to drive. Adjustable sway bars and a staggered 19-inch wheel setup (9.5 inch-wide fronts, 10 inch-wide rears) augments its grip at all speeds, while RTR adds a Gurney flap to the car's spoiler to boost downforce at high speeds.

Elsewhere on the bodywork, the Series 1 Mustang RTR features RTR badging on the grille, fenders, and decklid trim panel. The auto also features adjustable anti-roll bars so owners can tweak their car's handling.

"This collaboration has created a Mustang that offers smile-inducing street driving, diverse capability on the track and a very distinctive owner experience for those looking to stand out from the crowd", Gittin, whose official title is listed as "president and chief fun-haver" at RTR Vehicles, said in a press release issued Monday.
