Michael Bublé retiring due to sons battle with cancer

Michael Buble has just revealed how devastating his son's cancer diagnosis was.it has fundamentally altered his life to the point he may quit showbiz.

In an interview for the Daily Mail's Weekend Magazine, the 43-year-old discussed how he had changed since his son Noah's battle with liver cancer.

"My whole being's changed", he told journalist Chrissy Iley.

Now Buble apparently will make the break permanent after he released his new album, "Love", telling Daily Mail he wants to leave music at the "very top" after making the "perfect record". According to the article, he says, "I'm retiring from the business. My wife was... I'm sorry, I can't make it to the end of that sentence...let's just say we find out who we are with these things".

"I don't have the stomach for it any more".

The "Beautiful Day" singer has talked before about ending his music career during his son's illness.

In February previous year, Michael released a statement to confirm that Noah had progressed well following treatment.

Michael's wife is Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato and they share three children together; Noah, 5, Elias, 2, and daughter Vida, who is just two months old.
