United States unemployment falls to lowest rate in 48 years
Construction companies are expected to have hired more workers last month after increasing payrolls by 23,000 jobs in August. The trilateral trade agreement between the United States Canada and Mexico was salvaged in an 11th-hour deal on Sunday.

Meningococcal disease is an acute bacterial infection that can cause death within hours if it's not recognised and treated in time.

Of the 24 cases, 19 have been the B strain, three the W strain and one the Y strain, with the latest case yet to be identified.

Although the majority of victims go on to make a full recovery, 10 percent of those infected will die.

It comes just days after a free B-strain vaccine was offered to kids aged 6 weeks to 4 years old.
