Walt Disney World announces new nature-themed resort for 2022

The gondola system will connect Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels- Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort as well as the proposed 15th Disney Vacation Club property, Disney's Riviera Resort.

Bay Lake will be getting a new nature-inspired, mixed-use Disney resort in 2022.

In 2019, Disney will debut a revamped Coronado Springs Resort with a new 15-story tower that houses 545 rooms and suites.

In summer 2019, Walt Disney World Resort will unveil a completely reimagined Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, featuring hundreds of new guestrooms and a plethora of new amenities. The resort will be inspired by nature and will be located between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

The soon-to-be named resort will be be Disney's 16th Disney Vacation Club property.
