For many, cannabis and video games have always been the ideal match.

As with all management games of this style, profit is the name of the game and everything you do is for the ultimate goal of stacking up that green stuff... that being money. In the meantime, you can see the game's announcement trailer and a handful of screenshots of the title above. From early indications, the game is reminiscent of the Sim City series, games that allow players to develop and govern their own fictional cities. It's a budding industry-pun intended, offensive given-and players will be exposed to the politics of the plant throughout the game.

However, instead of theme parks or lemonade stands, Weedcraft Inc tasks you with overseeing an emerging weed producer in America, grappling with financial, political and cultural challenges along the way. You'll have to "prioritize resources carefully" in order to "manage the production and distribution" of your weed.

While Pujara took his time to settle in, he too played his shots as the two kept the scoreboard ticking. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav.

Along the way, weed tycoons will need to hire and manage their growing staff, while taking on competitors who are looking to stake out their own piece of the market. Players must consider cannabis laws when selling infused products and even have to lobby politicians to legalize it, that is unless they choose to go down a shadier route.

Devolver thinks the timing may be ideal to release a cannabis-themed tycoon game.

As for the game itself.well, it's fairly interesting. "And we thought, 'Well, that's a tycoon game waiting to happen'". Weedcraft Inc is targeted for release next year on PC, and will likely be more or less controversial in different parts of the world.
