Earlier on Friday, May laid wreaths at the graves of the first and last British soldiers killed in the war at the St Symphorien cemetery near Mons in Belgium, accompanied by Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel.

The visits reflect a shared history and shared future, Mrs May will say.

She came to the ceremony from a working lunch with Mr Macron in Albert, the town in the heart of the Somme region which suffered significant bombardment during the conflict.

On Friday morning, the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, stopped at the Saint-Symphorien military cemetery, near Mons, as part of the weekend of centenary commemorations for the Armistice. He was killed on the Western Front at 09:30 GMT, before the Armistice came into effect at 11:00, 100 years ago this Sunday. Charles Michel will then go to Paris where he will take part in a dinner hosted by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at the Musée d'Orsay.

In a solemn ceremony at the Thiepval memorial in northern France, Macron and May honoured allied soldiers who died at the Somme. The poppy is associated with Commonwealth soldiers who died during the 1914-18 war.

But the changes are substantial enough to make Hitman 2 feel like more than just a level pack or expansion for the first game. In a recent announcement, Warner Bros has stated that the game will be out in the market on November 13, 2018 .

John Parr was the first United Kingdom soldier to be killed in 1914 and the last was George Ellison, who died on the Western Front at 9.30am before the Armistice came into effect at 11am, 100 years ago on Sunday.

Mrs May's vehicle was ahead, was not involved in the accident and continued driving. "As the sun sets on 100 years of remembrance, we will never forget their sacrifice", she said.

On Saturday she will attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Prime Minister drew on the words of First World War poets to pay tribute to fallen soldiers as she began to mark the centenary of the Armistice.
