Rams' Marcus Peters fired up by Sean Payton's trash talk

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters rarely is at a loss for words

Wide receiver Michael Thomas burned Peters a couple of times in the Saints' 45-35 victory over the Rams on Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters is fired up by some trash talk from Sean Payton and can't wait to face the New Orleans Saints again.

And if there is any added friction due to a little bit of smack-talking between Peters and Payton, well, then that will just make it all the more entertaining. Sean Payton did not let the sleeping dog lie, as he targeted Peters following the game. So tell him keep talking that (expletive), and I hope he sees me soon.

His Rams, who had previously seemed invincible at 8-0, suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the New Orleans Saints. As a cornerback, with a job description that says he's supposed to prevent things like that from happening, it was undoubtedly a long afternoon for Peters.

Meg Ryan Reveals Engagement To John Mellencamp In A Quirky Announcement
The 56-year-old Ryan has been dating Mellencamp off and on since 2011, officially rekindling their romance in May of 2017. They became a couple as his marriage to Elaine Irwin was ending, although it hasn't been without problems.

"They were going to travel Marcus to him, and that was fine by us", Payton said after the game. Peters said. "Because I like what he was saying on the sidelines too". Thomas caught six of the eight targets for 127 yards and a touchdown.

Thomas had a career day against the Rams and set a new franchise record for most receiving yards in a single game with 211.

Hopefully, these two teams do get to meet up again in the playoffs.
