He connected on 16 of 21 shots from the field and generally made mincemeat of the Golden Eagles' defensive.

It took overtime but Marquette was able to oust Wisconsin 74-69 for the second consecutive year in a matchup of two of the state's premier men's basketball programs. The game was so close it even took an extra five minutes in an overtime period to decide the victor. A lack of composure is ultimately what lead to the fall of the Wisconsin offense at the end of the game and what helped Marquette cling to a small lead before winning by five. The entire team struggled from three-point range as well, connecting on just 5 of 24 attempts.

On the Wisconsin side, Ethan Happ was spectacular, but his 34 points and 11 rebounds weren't enough to avoid the upset from a dedicated and talented Marquette team.

Happ, accounting for almost half of the Badgers' point total, shot 16 of 21 from the field but didn't get much help from his teammates. And after tonight, it's safe to say that the Badgers like the Golden Eagles even less.

Around him, blue and gold streamers fluttered from the Fiserv Forum rafters, as "Jump Around" blared over the loudspeakers - a not-so-subtle nudge at one of Wisconsin's famed football traditions in this heated in-state basketball rivalry.
