In weird news, The Cut - online branch of New York Magazine - have apologised for a freaky article which labelled Priyanka Chopra a "scam artist" for her recent wedding to Nick Jonas.

The article, literally titled 'Is Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' Love For Real?', fully questioned Chopra and Jonas' relationship going as far as to end the article by telling Jonas to "gallop away as fast as you can".

After that, The Cut tweeted an apology saying, "An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We've removed it and apologise". She told the daily, "I don't even want to react or comment". Even before she crossed over from Bollywood superstardom into the Hollywood arena, she was on the edge of making history. "These kind of random things can't disturb it", she said.

As you can bloody imagine, the backlash hit hard with Jonas' brother Joe Jonas and fiancée Sophie Turner ripping into the article on Twitter.

"This is disgusting", wrote Joe. On the other hand For the Indian wedding, PeeCee put on a blood red lehenga and choli and his love interest Nick chose a beige colored Sherwani.

"This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting", she wrote. "Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bulls-t". The article on @priyankachopra was sexist, racist and disgusting. Also it's written by a woman which is so sad.

ABC drama "Quantico" star Priyanka Chopra and United States singer Nick Jonas just got married in India, the actress's motherland, after dating for a few months. On December 1, they had a Christian wedding, and on December 2, they had a Hindu wedding ceremony.
