The Dancing With the Stars judge has previously served as a guest co-host since 2017, but now she officially joins the show, replacing the departing Julie Chen.

Are you happy to see Inaba sitting at the Talk table for good?

Inaba's permanent spot at the table comes after Chen stepped down from the show following multiple sexual misconduct allegations made against her husband, former CBS Chairman Les Moonves.

"I'm so excited to be here, it's been an honor the a year ago kind of coming in, guest hosting and learning so much from all of you", she said at the top of today's show. She has been an occasional guest host during the past two seasons.

Ronil Singh of the tiny Newman Police Department, who pulled over the suspect December 26 to investigate if he was driving drunk. The case has rekindled a debate over California's sanctuary law that limits cooperation with federal immigration officials.

It was first reported in December that Inaba would likely be joining the show permanently, after serving as a guest host regularly in the wake of Chen's departure last September. 'I was back there by myself going, "Oh my God it's real!" Also, she appeared on the big screen in "Austin Powers in Goldmember", "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me", "American Virgin" and "Monster Mash", and as a dancer in "Boys and Girls", "Showgirls" and "Lord of Illusions". "It's the authentic conversations and connection with the audience and the ladies that really drew me to The Talk". I will always, always cherish the memories we shared.

After a brief video that showed some of Inaba's accomplishments played for the studio audience, Sharon Osbourne went on to praise the new host.

'You're fearless, and I love that about you, ' Osbourne continued. "We appreciate her warmth, heart and vulnerability, and love what she brings to the show".

The Talk airs weekdays from 2:00-3:00 PM ET (1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT) on the CBS Television Network.
