During his "Saint Pablo Tour", his stage was suspended over the crowd. And, though the lineup for the California festival has yet to be officially announced, the rumor seemed solid. Goldenvoice, the organization that puts on Coachella, apparently were unwilling to make a special exception for Kanye.

It's unclear what Ye wanted to pull off at the April festival but Coachella reportedly wouldn't budge on any stage alterations, which means that Kanye will not be performing.

Prices rise as the minimum wage increases in several states
Seattle, the fastest-growing large city in the US , has been at the forefront of the movement for higher minimum wages . Millions of USA workers will see increased pay in 2019 due to minimum-wage increases in 20 states and 21 cities.

"These 40×60 stages are so archaic", a source close to Ye tells TMZ. Kanye informed festival organizer Goldenvoice that he wouldn't perform on a traditional 60×40 foot stage because it was "artistically limiting". "It's the same type of stage on which Shakespeare's works were performed hundreds of years ago".

Unfortunately for him, Coachella promoters Goldenvoice weren't willing to budge on changing the stage exclusively for Kanye's performance, causing him to pass on a headlining slot. However, TMZ says Goldenvoice turned down the demand and felt it was best not to "compromise the other acts" to suit West's needs.
