Vivo has also confirmed that the APEX 2019 is its first 5G smartphone which is not surprising since the phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

Vivo announced the Apex 2019 at a press conference in Beijing, and it's safe to say that the phone is unlike any other in the market today.

As per previous leaks, the Vivo Apex 2019 will reportedly pack a liquid-metal chassis with rounded corners and curved back. Although there's no clear information, for now, we believe the selfie camera will sit on the top bezel of the phone much like the newly launched Meizu Zero. It does not have a USB port, instead, it relies on a magnetic port that connects to the bottom part of the back cover for charging and data transfer. But Vivo has decided that it is time to take this technology to the next level, introducing the possibility of integrating it throughout the display of its brand new Apex 2019, the smartphone without buttons and without ports. That glass also features capacitive buttons for volume and power control, and a full-screen in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo APEX 2019 will be unveiled tomorrow at an event in China.

In future, the deep integration of 5G and AI will become key to the development of the 5G smartphone era, the company said.

John Kerry Thinks President Trump Should Resign
When pressed on what his message to the President would be, Kerry responded, "Resign". "He doesn't have an ability to have that kind of conversation".

While there's no word on whether Vivo Apex 2019 would ever be commercially available, but don't lose hope. The company published a teaser for the phone on its social media platforms, in which the company revisited the progression of its elevating selfie camera. With Vivo's technology, however, there will be more sensors under the screen so that the user can unlock his new Apex 2019 by touching nearly all areas of the display.

What about the front camera?

While the camera configurations remain unknown, the smartphone has two rear cameras and no front camera. That screen also functions as a speaker, because speaker grills are apparently too ugly for 2019.

While the Vivo Apex 2019 appears to be a drool-worthy smartphone with new technologies surrounding it, the idea of a no-selfie camera might not be as good as it seems.

The Vivo Apex 2019, as the company has made a decision to name it in order to differentiate it from the Apex prototype showed off in February previous year, comes with quite a few interesting features. Stay tuned for more update.
