Roger Stone says he has not asked Trump for pardon

Stephanopoulos asked Stone about possibly cooperating with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation probe, as Mueller has not asked to speak with Stone to date: "Are you prepared to tell the truth about your dealings with him to the special counsel, the truth about your dealings with the campaign?"

Meanwhile, Stone said Sunday he would not categorically rule out forging a cooperation agreement with special counsel Robert Mueller.

The Stone indictment also claims the Trump campaign reached out to Stone for information on Russia's hack of Hillary Clinton's emails, suggesting Trump had no clue what Russian Federation was up to, and thus the entire Mueller investigation is a politically motivated fraud.

"Mr. Stone, I think what you're really trying to say is that you're a feeble old man, right?"

"I made an honest effort to go through everything I was in communication with in 2016, to see if there was anybody directly or indirectly providing me information from Wikileaks", he said. "You got nothing. Keep running your mouth and I'll file a bar complaint against your friend [an attorney with ties to Wikileaks]".

There have been filings about the hacking into DNC e-mails and Hillary Clinton's e-mails.

"It is hard to fathom that the two men did not discuss Stone's information on WikiLeaks given the detailed revelations in Stone's indictment about his communications with senior Trump Campaign officials and his work on behalf of the Campaign in liaising with WikiLeaks", Goodman writes.

Stone has said he will plead not guilty to the charges. Stone said the evidence in Mueller's indictment was thin, "so I'm prepared to fight for my life".

Schiff said his panel would give Mueller access to all transcripts of testimony before the committee, including Trump's son Donald Trump Jnr, for prosecution purposes.

"No, I believe the special counsel has had access to the transcripts, but not for the goal of use in a perjury prosecution", Schiff said. He also pledged to continue congressional probes of any Trump-Russia ties.
