Sam Smith shares the video for 'Dancing With A Stranger', featuring Normani

Sam Smith has revealed how his collaboration "Dancing With A Stranger" with Normani came about and whether he'd be up for working with the rest of Fifth Harmony.

Directed by Vaughan Arnell, the video features Smith and Normani attempting to get over their exes by dancing "with someone new". In the visualization, the British singer-songwriter and former Fifth Harmony songbird find closure through the art of dance but are nevertheless haunted by the ghosts of lovers past.

"The day we wrote it Normani came into the studio for a meeting with someone else and I asked her to jump on the song", Sam explained, "She jumped on it and it was wonderful".

Zack Snyder to Direct Zombie Movie ‘Army of the Dead’ for Netflix
He and his wife/producing partner Deborah Snyder have used their time off to help raise money for suicide prevention charities. It will be interesting to see this film come together and I look forward to seeing this on Netflix sometime in the future.

Smith recently spoke with Zane Lowe on Beats1 about his latest releases, "Dancing with a Stranger" and "Promises" (with Calvin Harris) which aren't attached to a new album.

It is also such a lovely moment for me as I'm a huge, huge fan of Normani and everything she is. I'm so excited to watch her light shine'. When I saw her do that on the Billboard Awards, I was like, "Wow". "She's special. And you can tell that she works really hard", Smith said. "I hope everyone enjoys hearing this song as much as I do".
